Stay on Top of Children's Foot Care

Comments (0)

children's feet

School’s out for summer! We all know what that means: more time for family vacations, summer camps, pool parties, and weekend trips to explore all over Arizona. What may not immediately come to mind (but is great to do with the extra time on your hands) is staying on top of your children’s foot care by scheduling an annual foot checkup.

We know what you’re thinking: “My child doesn’t have any foot pain right now. Is it necessary for him to be seen?” As parents ourselves, we would say yes. Since kids’ feet are constantly growing, an annual checkup allows for the opportunity to make sure your children’s feet are developing correctly, and we can perform any routine care if needed.

Like a regular checkup, our foot care professionals take the time to examine your child’s feet thoroughly and determine if there’s anything you need to keep an eye on that may warrant additional care. As well, this gives you time to ask any questions you may have, such as things like children’s proper footwear or home care tips for keeping your children’s feet healthy.

Consider your child’s annual foot check-up just as important as a general health check-up. The team at Advanced Foot & Ankle Specialists of Arizona is more than happy to help you stay on top of your children’s foot care, and if problems do arise between visits, don’t hesitate to give us a call. You can reach our Chandler and Gilbert offices by phone at 480-963-9000 or submit an online appointment request here.

Make sure your kids’ feet stay healthy and safe so they can have fun all summer long, and all year long, too!
